10 (Personal Growth) Books For Millennials
It's said that millennials (my generation) have short attention spans. Whether it's due to the rise of technology and in turn, distractions, or just the way the world is today, it seems to be true. This is why videos, music and podcasts are so popular. However, books are vital resources that shouldn't be overlooked. Books take much more time and research to create than a Youtube video or podcast. In some cases, authors spend an entire decade perfecting a book before it's published. This is why books, in my eyes, are one of the most important resources geared towards personal growth. So, here's 10 books that, I believe, will grab a millennials' attention.
If you'd like to purchase one of these, just click on picture of the book. Enjoy!
1. The Third Door by Alex Banayan
Not only is this book meant for millennials, it's written by a millennial. Alex Banayan did a great job with this one. The Third Door, his first book, became a national best seller and became one of my favorite books of all time. If you're looking to get motivated and hear a handful of intriguing stories centered around well-known people, this book will peak your interest.
2. Its All In Your Head by Russ
Russ is more known for his music accolades but his career as an author is just beginning. His book, It's All In Your Head, is short, to the point and filled with music to transition through chapters. Russ is another millennial on this list which is even more of a reason why this book is meant for people in my generation.
3. The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins
The 5 Second Rule is one of the single most influential tools in my arsenal. It's a simple concept but Mel Robbins dives deep into explaining every detail related to the 5 Second Rule. She is guaranteed to get you motivated with this one.

6. The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F*ck by Mark Manson
Just like the title, The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F*ck, is unorthodox. Mark Manson goes off the beaten path to give a much needed message to the people in todays society. Worry about what matters and ditch what doesn't. Enjoy!

Like I said previously, facing distractions is inevitable in todays world. The One Thing will help you clear the noise and stay focused on what truly matters in your life. Take the next step by focusing on the one thing.

My guess is that if you could work less hours but still make the same amount of money, you'd take that opportunity. Well, Tim Ferriss, lays out exactly how that's possible with this best selling book. He goes further than providing techniques. He provides readers with concrete tools like no other book I've read. This is a very valuable book and highly recommended!
