For the year 2023, I plan to read/re-read 52 books (1/week). I did this a few years back and fell off from my regular reading pattern. If you're an avid non-fiction reader or just looking for your next good read, come back each week to see which books may be up your alley. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Week 1 (Jan. 1 - 7)
How To Win At The Sport Of Business by Mark Cuban
Quick Summary
How to Win at the Sport of Business is a quick read. I read it in 2 days but it could be read faster if you have the time. Like the title of the book says, it's about being successful in business. Mark Cuban, a successful business owner and investor, has been a part of many businesses and gives insight on the mindset and habits it takes to be prosperous. From hiring the right people for your company to problem solving, this short but knowledge-filled book has plenty of information for its readers.

Recommendation
I would recommend this book to anyone who has a love for business and/or has or is planning to start/grow a business.

Week 2 (Jan. 8 - 14)
Managing Oneself by Peter F. Drucker
Quick Summary
Managing Oneself is another quick read. I read it in an hour on a flight then read it again on my way home for good measure. Like the title of the book says, it's about managing yourself. Specifically, Peter F. Drucker explains how to create your career path by knowing when to seize opportunities and when to change course. Use this book to learn how to recognize your strengths, how to work best with others, and identify the best work environment for you.

Recommendation
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to take the next steps to becoming better in a career or extracurricular activity. Understanding how you can work to the best of your ability is key to success.

Week 3 (Jan. 15 - 21)
Rich Habits by Thomas C. Corley
Quick Summary
Rich Habits is a book I read every year. It doesn't take long to read but its packed with resources. The Rich Habits are actually 10 principals that successful people follow and an unsuccessful person can follow to transform into whoever they want to become. Read along to see how the individuals in this books go from rock bottom to a place they never thought they would reach. Take it a step further and take notes then implement the tools in your life. What do you have to lose?
Recommendation
Everyone in the world should read this book. The knowledge it holds is applicable to everyone no matter their age or place in life. It's a very quick read. So, there's no reason to not take the small amount of time to read this and in turn have the opportunity of leveling up.

Week 4 (Jan. 22 - 28)
Never Finished by David Goggins
Quick Summary
David Goggins did it again. This book is phenomenal. The story telling is on another level. From hardship to triumph, Davids hunger for being uncommon in a world of common is inspirational. It's one thing to tell someone what they can do to improve their life, it's another to lead by example with relentless action. The audible version has additional commentary so I'd recommend it. What are you waiting for?
Recommendation
If you're looking for good storytelling or a kick in the ass, this is the book for you. A friend of mine just got done telling me that him, his wife, and his friend were all running in a 10K after reading this book. I'd recommend this one to EVERYONE.
